{"id":255172,"date":"2018-05-31T07:54:26","date_gmt":"2018-05-31T11:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rael.org\/?p=255172"},"modified":"2021-04-16T11:06:44","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T15:06:44","slug":"us-losing-its-cards-in-syria-highlights-of-rts-interview-with-bashar-assad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noproxy.rael.org\/bg\/us-losing-its-cards-in-syria-highlights-of-rts-interview-with-bashar-assad\/","title":{"rendered":"US \u2018losing its cards\u2019 in Syria: Highlights of RT\u2019s interview with Bashar Assad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>RAEL\u2019S COMMENT:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>They have to learn their lesson\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Washington and its \u201cpuppets\u201d tried, and failed, to destroy Syria \u2013 and the US military will eventually be forced out of the country: These are a few of the highlights from RT\u2019s exclusive interview with President Bashar Assad.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with RT\u2019s Murad Gazdiev in Damascus, Assad commented on a range of topics, from the threat of direct conflict between the US and Russia, to why he doesn\u2019t fear Israeli assassination threats.<\/p>\n<p>On Victory: \u2018It\u2019s self-evident\u2019 that Syria is \u2018moving closer to the end of the conflict\u2019<br \/>\nAssad noted that the \u201cmajority\u201d of Syria is now under government control, but said that continued provocations and escalations by the United States and its allies have needlessly prolonged the seven-year conflict.
