President Obama dropped a bombshell during his final press conference, admitting that the DNC emails published by Wikileaks were leaked from within the DNC \u2013 not hacked by Russia.<\/p>\n

As such, Obama just called Hillary Clinton, the Democrat establishment and the mainstream media \u2013 who have all been\u00a0frantically trying to convince the world that\u00a0the Russians did it\u00a0\u2013 a pack of liars.<\/p>\n

Around the eight-minute mark of the press conference, Obama says he hasn\u2019t \u201ccommented on WikiLeaks generally,\u201d and that the \u201cconclusions of the intelligence community with respect to the Russian hacking were not conclusive as to whether WikiLeaks was witting or not in being the conduit through which we heard about the [Democratic National Committee] DNC e-mails\u00a0that were leaked.\u201d<\/p>\n

To Craig Murray, an author and broadcaster, Obama\u2019s comment\u00a0clarified\u00a0that the U.S. government has \u201cno evidence of how WikiLeaks got the DNC material.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obama\u2019s statement is important, Murray continues, because it \u201cundermines the stream of completely evidence-free nonsense that has been emerging from the [U.S.] intelligence services this last two months, in which a series of suppositions have been strung together to make unfounded assertions that have been repeated again and again in the mainstream media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the emails \u201cthat were leaked\u201d and not the servers that were hacked, Murray adds, Obama appears to agree with\u00a0several experts\u00a0on this subject, making it clear the entire ordeal revolving around the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election is but a smokescreen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been repeating that this was a leak, not a hack, until I am blue in the face,\u201d Murray added. But he isn\u2019t the only one. William Binney, a whistleblower who previously worked as Technical Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), has also\u00a0stated\u00a0this incident wasn\u2019t a hack. It was a leak.<\/p>\n

If it had been a hack, Binney\u00a0said, the NSA would be able to provide the public with details regarding the actual attack. But from the reports presented so far, that\u2019s clearly not the case.<\/p>\n

Adding that Obama\u2019s reference to the leaked material \u201cappears very natural, fluent and unforced,\u201d Murray celebrates, saying that it \u201cis good to have the truth finally told.\u201d<\/p>\n
