But these poor Venezuela people have no toothpaste\u2026 what a drama\u2026 Let\u2019s send the bombers\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Journalist Max Blumenthal visited state-subsidized food markets outside Caracas and, in a new video, showed that what the corporate media says doesn&#8217;t exist in Venezuela can actually be easily found right at a local market.<\/p>\n<p>Blumenthal toured several state-subsidized markets outside the Venezuelan capital, witnessing\u00a0\u201chundreds of people\u201d\u00a0purchasing basic goods there. He says that the produce is\u00a0\u201csold well-below market value,\u201d\u00a0adding that the prices appear to be quite affordable for locals as well. The video shows locals leaving with large bags of groceries from the markets.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s bread, meat and chicken, pasta, dried fish and assorted vegetables, even handcrafted soap at the market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBehind me is toothpaste which CNN said does not exist in Venezuela,\u201d\u00a0Blumenthal says.<br \/>\nThe remark is followed by an expert from the broadcaster&#8217;s reporting about US \u2018humanitarian aid\u2019 which contains the precious commodity that President Nicolas Maduro has supposedly deprived his people of.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all are in peace here. Here we don&#8217;t want war,\u201d\u00a0a woman at the market says, adding that she doesn&#8217;t want\u00a0\u201cforeigners\u201d\u00a0to spark war.\u00a0\u201cAnd tell the news that we don&#8217;t need anything. What we want is for the US to lift the blockade it has put on us in Venezuela.
