An apex of dictatorial attitude: “I protect your security by suppressing your freedom.” Testing people returning from abroad is an acceptable possibility, but if the test comes out negative then nothing can justify a one-week detention. Where would one be detained anyway? In a prison? A concentration camp? So, if upon returning from abroad one tests negative, the person should be able to go home without any problem. The final justification saying that he supposedly wants to protect those who operate the French ski resorts sets a new record in stupidity. Will depriving French people of the freedom to go skiing abroad really protect French ski resorts from bankruptcy? Why not also try to stop French people from eating at restaurants abroad by pretending it will protect French restaurants that are forced to remain closed. Complete madness.**
